Sight: Dambulla Cave Temples

Visit the Dambulla cave temple, which is the biggest and most top-preserved cave temple with 157 statues. This is also considered as a UNESCO World Heritage site, visited by many travellers.

 

Sight: Sigiriya Rock Climb

Head towards the Sigiriya, which is a large rock about 370m above. Witness the large lion paws guarding the citadel front, the reflecting wall of scribbled poems also referred to as ‘Kurutu Gee’, the frescoes painted at the sheer rock face, and the scattered ruins of the rock.

Enjoy Sri Lanka’s global renowned spices at their supply. Visit a spice garden, where smells of cinnamons, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg and mace weigh down the senses and the traffic provides an insight into an age antique enterprise of spice production.
